Why should I get my equipment calibrated?
To ensure you are meeting the test standards and your equipment is in good, safe working condition you should get it calibrated.
As part of our calibration process we carefully inspect the unit for any current or on the verge of issues. We ensure all working parts are still in spec to ensure your testing is accurate.
For that peace of mind and guarantee to your customer ensure you are keeping your equipment calibrated.
All equipment should be calibrated every 6 months to ensure compliance with the standards.
What's included in calibration?
Once we receive the equipment, we preform the following services:
- Visual Inspection of all components
- Testing and validation to the original standard (focus towards test specifications of ASTM E1105. AAMA 501.2)
- Recommendation for any replacement parts and/or upgraded parts.
We will ship back the calibrated equipment with a new certificate showing the date the service was completed
How often should I calibrate my equipment?
All equipment should be calibrated every 6 months to match the standard and ensure the test run will be compliant.

What is the cost to calibrate?
Cost for calibration services vary depending on the equipment.
Rain Maker Spray Racks and Wind Maker Plus Test Kits have a $200 calibration charge.
Rain Make Spray Wands cost $75 for services.
These costs do not include shipping the product to and from our facility. It also does not cover any replacements parts that are needing swap out or we recommend.
What's included in calibration service?
Once we receive the equipment back for calibration, we will:
- Preform a visual inspection of all components
- Calibrate the equipment to the primary standards (ASTM E1105 and AAMA 501.2)
- Repair or replace parts needing correction
- Recommend any upgrades to the equipment

We offer calibration services on the Rain Maker Spray Rack, the Wind Maker Plus Test Kit and the Rain Wand
Do I need to send in my entire Rain Maker Spray Rack?
In order for the calibration to be thorough and ensure you produce the most consistent and accurate results in the field; we want to inspect and calibrate the entire unit.
The only part of the system that is not needed to be returned, is the telescoping support leg. If you do send that along with the rest of the Spray Rack, we will inspect the leg along with the rest of the equipment.
What are the weights and dimensions for shipping?
Here are the weights and suggested packages for shipping your items to our office:
- Rain Maker Spray Rack - Product weight (not including the telescoping leg support) = 35 lbs. Length = 76" Width = 6" Height = 3"
